Life International Academy is the first school in the world designed entirely around Life-Skills Based Learning™, a trademarked model that integrates Montessori education, global citizenship, environmental stewardship, and real-world skill-building.

Our approach is grounded in the belief that education is not preparation for life, it is life itself. We blend authentic Montessori methods with hands-on, values-based learning experiences that prepare children to lead purposeful, compassionate, and impactful lives.

In multi-age classrooms, students take charge of their learning through exploration, collaboration, and meaningful work. From launching micro-businesses and managing real budgets, to practicing public speaking, sustainable living, and critical thinking, our students learn to lead, serve, and solve problems in today’s world.

All children receive daily instruction in foriegn languages, engage in project-based global studies, and participate in community service initiatives that nurture empathy and responsibility.

Our micro-school model allows for individualized attention, deep relationships, and purposeful learning. Every aspect of the school, from our classroom culture to our outdoor learning gardens is designed to help children grow not only academically, but emotionally, socially, ethically, and globally.

Screen-Free Childhood

At Life International Academy, we believe children deserve a childhood rooted in wonder not wired to a screen. That’s why we intentionally design our classrooms and curriculum to be screen-free during the school day. Instead of passive scrolling or digital distractions, our students learn through movement, nature, conversation, hands-on work, and real human connection.

We protect the early years as sacred filled with eye contact, curiosity, problem-solving, and purpose. In a world of increasing technology, we offer a rare space where children are allowed to be fully present, fully engaged, and fully themselves. 

Because childhood only happens once and we believe it should be lived, not streamed.

International Language Program

At Life International Academy, every student will learn a second language (Arabic or Mandarin) through daily language instruction and immersion in their classroom. Our unique program is based on ACTFL latest scientific research and effective methods for teaching International languages for non-native speakers (American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages ). The program emphasizes conversational skills through a combination of hands-on activities, culture exploration & dramatic storytelling. Our goal is to provide a multicultural educational experience, instilling in our students a constant curiosity towards foreign languages and fostering students’ global-mindedness and critical thinking for learning foreign languages enabling students to intuitively reach their highest mastery of
bilingualism.

ADMISSIONS CONSIDERATIONS: Life International Academy seeks to admit students and families who are aligned with our school’s Mission & Core Values, and who will engage and support our LifeIA community.​ Admission is based on selective criteria including: the family interview, the student’s shadow visit day; prior academic record; teacher recommendation(s); developmental readiness; suitability to our school-specific village spaces, and standardized assessments. The admissions committee will also consider evidence of the applicant’s potential for success in our Montessori and Life Based Skills programs.
